ANZAPPL New Zealand will again be holding the popular Mental Health Law presentations in each of the 5 centres.

The program is presently being finalised but again will be topical and relevant to people working in or associated with mental health.
Mental Health Law Conferences 2013
It will be 21 years since the present Mental Health Act came into force. Professor John Dawson, Faculty of Law at the University of Otago and Kris Gledhill of the Auckland Law Faculty are planning a book of well-researched essays on NZ’s Mental Health Act in Practice. At the Mental Health Law conferences in 2013 authors of the book will present their work.

Visit by Professor Vaughan Carr, Professor of Psychiatry at University of NSW
Professor Carr is presenting in Wellington as the Visiting Fellow for the Chad Buckle Fellowship 2012. A public lecture is being held on Wednesday, 7 March 2012 at 7.00pm – Venue to be advised.
