Family Violence: Contemporary Federal & State Approaches
Family violence is currently a topic receiving a great deal of attention in Australia. In 2009 a national plan to reduce violence against women and children was released. This year the Australian and New South Wales Law Reform Commissions have been asked to focus on the intersections between the many laws at federal and state level about family violence and a report is due in the near future.
