The Psychiatry, Psychology & Law of Immigration in Australia

ANZAPPL NSW recently sponsored an event exploring some of the contentious issues surrounding Immigration in Australia at the moment.  Speakers included past President of the Australian Psychological Society, Accosciate Professor Amanda Gordon,Psychiatrist Professor Derrick Silove and Elizabeth Biok, Civil Solicitor from Legal Aid NSW.

The seminar highlighted a number of issues relevant to the three disciplines.  The presentations will be published here in the near future.
