Conference DetailsThis year’s Conference, Crime and Punishment: The Rising Punitiveness, will be co-hosted by
the Australian & New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (New Zealand)
and the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry). The Conference Committee looks forward to welcoming you to Wellington. Early bird registration closes on Friday October 14th.

“Wellington is Cool-with-a-capital-C, crammed with more bars, cafes The conference will be held at the Wellington Convention Centre. The Convention Centre consists of two unique buildings next to each other; the beautifully restored Wellington Town Hall built in 1904, and the architecturally modern Michael Fowler Centre. The Centre is just a short walk from all major hotels and banks, surrounded by the city’s cafes, shops, culture and nightlife, and adjoins the Civic Square - an inner city urban park bordered by the city library, art gallery and children’s science museum.
